Hi Jenny

Just thought we would update you on Beyonce's progress. To start with she has grown a fair bit and still seems to be we measured her at just over 16 hands and we are hopeful she will make 16 1 yet, not that she needs the height with that jump!

She is a princess and has become a yard favourite for cuddles much to Lucy's other warmbloods disgust as he now has to share, it has been nicknamed the diva corner each wanting to be loved and fed first!

Lucy has been riding her away and this week that has been in the 60 x 60m arena with a full set of jumps in two thirds of it she is eyeing up.

Lucy's trainer is so excited about her, he says she is a Badminton horse in the making and he has produced a few in his time! He says he has never seen a horse with perfect technique the air at such a young age her jump groundwork is improving all the time. All his pupils seem to know about her and we are asked alot where we got her from which of course we are only too pleased to tell them.

Once she gets shoes on she will be hacking out with Lucy's 17 hand novice eventer who she is in love with.

We'll keep you informed of when she does her first competitions but we are taking slowly because we must get right she is too talented not to!

Regards

Sarah Lucy and Beyonce

FRESH EXCITING NEWS----GHANDI has been scouted by top Dutch rider who competes internationally and who sold Russel to Nick Skelton and has produced and sold many other top horses to top riders has asked Jennifer if he can take Ghandi to Holland to produce as he thinks he has the talent to go to the top. He may be graded but is certainly going to be one for the future!
Ghandi is now in Holland and will be starting his first shows soon.
WATCH THIS SPACE........

FRESH EXCITING NEWS----ALLURE also sold to Jennifer in Malta was selected for the Big equestrian games over there to do the pairs dressage to music and showjumping at the HUGE coca cola arena. This will be televised in Malta and will be a HUUUUGE event with big brass bands and big crowd's!!
I went over in August 2010 whilst Jennifer was parcticing for this HUUUUGE event so i had the pleasure at last of meeting Jennifer and Allure again. Allure was STUNNING and so well looked after with Jen. She had a brilliant home and it made me wish id not sold her seeing her looking how she did:)
I attended the practise event with Jennifer and Allure and whilst there the brass band was playing and Allure was a legend for just 5yro she could be a police horse she was so sensible!

FRESH EXCITING NEWS----Jennifer has just told me the Event went a complete success and it was televised that Allure stole the show. She did amazingly in the pairs dressage and showjumping and has also qualified for the next step of the world dressage challange!!!

My good friend and Vecthom supporter Jennifer based in Malta has sent me some pictures of her SUPERB 3yro Belgium Warmblood stallion stallion Ghandi Van De Pikkerie. Purchased as a 2yro Ghandi has really grown into something spectacular!
Jennifer always stays in touch and it has been said by a TOP german Trainer that Ghandi is the best horse in Malta!

Zeana was brought in January O9 as a just broken young 4 rising 5yro that year. She was brought by the Tostevin family for their daughter Shelley to produce and showjump. Shelley has done a superb job and has waited 7mnths until ready to compete the mare and she has come out with a bang.
Well done Shelley im so proud of what you have done with this very talented mare.

Shelley writes to me.

Zeana competed at Wales and West and placed 7th and 8th with 60+ in her class - this was her first show! She also came 7th in the grand prix in our local HOYS - the jump off was a full up 1.10m. Again about 40 in this class. Also came 3rd in our local North Show twice! Hope to start jumping her bigger throughout the winter and compete her in the bigger tracks next year - maybe see some of her potential?!

Will keep you updated. Shelley x

Above is Aron who is currently jumping and competing under CK Royal Gem.
She was purchased from me in 2008 as a unbroken 3yro on her potential and was produced by owner Karen Clowes and rider Emma Shaw.
She has so far only been to a handful of affiliated shows but has been storming them with her bold, Careful jump and her superb ability and recently won 3 of 4 days at arena UK in the British Novice and more recently has qualified for the final of the 4yro class at addlington manor.
What a achievement!!
Well done Karen and i hope you carry on having all the success with her and i love hearing your news and well done to Emma Shaw for doing a fantastic job.
Karen continues to be a valued customer of Vecthoms and a personal friend of mine.

Hi Jenny

Just thought I would send you a picture of Jack (just over one week after we bought him from you, without even coming to see him or try him!!)

He is just as you said, such a sweet little man and is very bold. He has a heart of gold and has got quite attached to Georgie and myself already and he loves his cuddles!

This is a picture of Jack and Georgie yesterday jumping at the Guernsey BSJA Spring show. He got better and better as the show went on. He is as you said still a little green, but with a little time I think they will form a fantastic partnership together. I didn't even bother to bath him for the show as his coat is already beautiful and we were thrilled when we saw the lovely condition he arrived in.

We went up to the practice BSJA this morning and jumped the jumps he was a little unsure about over the weekend and jumped them all perfectly, he also flew their big hedge and table top jump they use in the working hunter class. (Georgie is really looking forward to x-country on him!) : )

Thank you so much for all your time on the phone and by email, it is lovely knowing we have your help and support.

I will keep you updated.

Thanks again Jenny

Sharon, Georgie and Jack

Hi Jenny

Thought you might like an update on Danni and Jiggy who have really clicked. They competed in their first event today (combined training) and won it - they even scored a nine in the dressage phase! Jiggy truly is a mother's dream just as you described him - well he's this mother's dream anyway!

Very happy for you to use pictures etc on your website. We have recommended you to a few friends that are looking for horses so they are keeping an eye on your site and it would be nice to have some "Jiggy updates".

We were discussing recently the experience of buying unseen and came to the conclusion that if we had come to see Jiggy we may not have bought him. There are so many for sale and he is not the best we have had to handle from the ground, as he doesn't really like to take the bit and he can be a bit nibbly and pushy when he has his bridle on (although he is getting better each time). Also, the dentist (your mate Libby) said he was one of the most difficult ponies she has done for a long time!

If we had have been put off by those minor issues, we would have missed an absolute cracker as he is just perfect for what we need. He has enough spark about him without being strong or fizzy and is fantastically schooled and has bags of ability.

Being in the IOM, we could have easily spent £1,000 taking trips to the UK to view horses but we decided to go on recommendation and take a chance that Jiggy was as good as you said he was. Waiting to see what turned up from the ferry wasn't good for the nerves but I don't think we could have found a better pony for Danni's needs if we had toured the UK.

I hope business is good for you.

Alco (3yro Eurocommerce Vancouver) stallion and Elton (4yro El Bundy) were purchased from me by HK dressage in June and July 2008.

Hi Jenny,

Our two boys are doing very well.

As you can see from the photo’s Elton has been out competing and done very well – already has 3 rosettes under his belt and some good scores. He’s a sweet sensitive soul who loves attention and has super paces to boot. He has also been popping some fences and is really careful so could show jump or event too. He’s been out round the farm ride and (unlike most of our silly dressage horses!) hasn’t spooked at any of the cross country fences so I might be tempted to try some soon!

Alco has now been under saddle two weeks and the photos are from day 1 and day 2 off the lunge and you can see what a little star he has been. We can now walk, trot, canter very confidently on both reins and is even trying to show us his medium trot. I can’t wait to pop a fence on him but another few weeks I think. We are getting him ready for a couple of loose jumping competitions then he will go to the grading in November and fingers crossed we hope they will license him. He’s a little gem and everybody adores him.

Thanks for finding them for us and no doubt we’ll be seeing you soon!

Zsa Zsa (4yro Calvados) was purchased by Louisa in Febuary 2008.

Hi Jenni
Sorry its been a long while since I've been in touch.Just to let you know that Zsa Zsa is doing really well.He has turned out to be exactly everything that you said he was. You could not have been anymore honest about him.I am so very very pleased with him and he has been well worth the wait. Zsa is exactly what I was looking for and he will definitely be staying with me forever. Thank you for finding him.He has turned out to be a real character. Hes thrown the poopa scooper across the paddock, taken friends hats off and even thrown things out of his stable. You will be glad to know that my riding has improved 100%.I have been mainly schooling him in walk, trot and a little canter. This has made him so much more responsive for me.We have had a lot of snow here recently and Zsa did not know what to make of it. He was wondering around the field licking it whilst the others were happy eating hay.He is so funny to watch and he is always playing about with the others and annoying them. Will be in touch again soon......Louisa

Adina (3yro Krack C) was purchased by Deborah unbroken in April 2008.

Hi There,

Just a quick update.

I took Adina to Dorset County show on Saturday and she came 2nd in 3 y o pot hunter and she won the 3 y o pot competition horse!!!! She was a star all day.

That was her last show until next jan so it was a nice way to finish. Now have the winter to prep her for the 4 y o classes.

Debs

Hi there,

Thought it was about time I gave you an update on Adina.

Today was day 6 of having a rider on her and she has proved to be everything I had hoped; calm, responsive, a quick learner and sensible. She hasn't put a hoof wrong! She went out on her first "hack" (led out with a rider on top) and was a star. My 17 year old sister has been doing all the riding so far but I am going to get on her this coming week and am very excited!

Last weekend she went to do some showing and came 2nd and 3rd in her classes. We have a few more shows coming up which will all be good experience for her

Hi, Just thought I would give you a little update on Adina.

We are totally delighted with her. She has settled in to her new home well and gets on well with my other horses.

We have started work with her just lunging and long reining. My sister leant over her the ther day and she was a star. We aim to get on her in the next week or 2 but want to take it really slowly with her.

Today we took her to her first show. Planned on doing potential Sports Horse but we somehow missed the class so put her in riding horse class. Knew she wouldnt do well due to age but she still came 5th! She coped really well and was an absolute star!
